i have a little problem about my site..the background image...it's in the forum>thread>"topic"..and the inbox page also..

the problem is the background wont centered..and it dose mess up my layout..what's the css codes to modify this and how do i fix it?

owh the other pages is working fine

You could use a css code for this, but there is actually a modifier in the design editor that will allow you the same effect I am thinking. You would just click on manage, then appearance, then modifiers, and then look for the headers category, then pick the one that says display header background as banner.

That should give you the effect you are looking for.

Also, anytime you are posting a topic about something that is concerning the looks of something you should always leave a link to your site so that we can have a look at what you have going on.

Try adding the code below to the advanced section of your theme editor. I have attached an image to demonstrate where that is if your not sure.

background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position: top center;
padding:0 0;
}

If this is not for your entire background image, can you attach screen shot of your issue and I am positive I can create a modifier that will help fix the issue that you are seeing.

That's going to be a bit difficult to fix because you are using a custom theme that apparently doesn't work right. You can see the forums post container jump when the page loads so you can tell the the coding is off in some way and is also not placed in the right order for the browser to read. Otherwise the page would load that data first and you would never see the page hop like it does.

If you have altered the code in any kind of way it could cause that, but if not you need to contact the person that made that theme to let them know it doesn't function properly.

yes the coding is totally off. i haven't made any modifications at any codes except the code by web wizco. OMG in that case i have to change the theme? is there any other way i can fix this other than let that theme maker know about that particular error, or chose another theme?

If, as stated above you make modifications to the code that controls the premium theme, you will definitely see errors. All themes are tested before I submit them and then tested again by Spruz before they are approved.

It is clearly evident when visiting the site, that the code has been horribly modified and if left untouched by inexperienced users would look just fine! I suggest you revert back to the default settings that were provided with the theme, which is designed on a strict dimension structure or remove the theme.

The dimensions have been changed by the owner of the site that purchased the theme. In doing this, they have caused some issues to appear when visiting pages within the network. I can bet you anything, this theme worked very well before it was hacked by the owner.

@Randya, it is not the theme that is not working. It is the additional junkie modifications made to the original code of the premium theme.

Well according to Webwizco's reply, it's because of your "JUNKIE" coding that the themes not working lol. I'm sorry that you are having to hear that kind of talk as it's not really required and just the nature of the person you purchased the theme from.

If you didn't mess with the coding for the theme then I suggest asking the ever so pleasant creator of it to help you fix it. 20.00 is a lot to pay for a theme that does not work and an absolute outrage in my opinion. So if that's the case be sure to let the creator of the theme know of their error, and as well let Spruz know that there is a theme in the library that is not working properly so that no one else will bother with the purchase of something so "JUNKIE" so to speak.

If you contact me I will take a look at it for you and see what I can do so that you don't have to change themes. I hate to see you be out the money that you spent on the theme for no reason.

You're welcome, and it's not a bad looking theme. It wouldn't take too much work to get it back in order either, so if you want me to fix it for you I would be glad t S7upid_eden. There won't be any cost for it and I will do it for free.
